Mountain Hares

Mountain Hares tell stories that reconnect us to the earth. They weave original songs inspired by nature and share their rejuvenating take on traditional music. They love to engage audiences by encouraging participation, and leave you feeling that you've been part of an intimate and special music experience.

Their immersive performances layer vocal harmonies with a diversity of instruments, including guitar, piano, harmonium, banjo, lapsteel dobro, and Native American flute.

“A unique sound. Those harmonies really resonate... It's wonderful, like a genetic connection.”
Margaret Pickersgill, CommonFolk
It was brilliant they are amazing entertainers and musicians. They really are worth seeing and the club was rammed.
Daz Barry, First Friday Folk
What a brilliant might we had with Mountain Hares as our guests. This lively duo should go far with their amazing range of instruments, harmonies and their mix of environmental themed songs - they clearly enjoy performing and we all enjoyed their sets.
Susan Gill, First Friday Folk
